The Spiritus Anglican Women's Hostel (AWH) has been operating in New Farm since 1976. AWH provides crisis accommodation (up to 3 months) for up to 14 single women who are 18 years and over who are/or at risk of being homeless.

AWH offers shared accommodation: communal living arrangements including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, laundry and recreational areas.

Case Management: Case Managers work with women to address issues identified by the women including counselling, legal referrals, advocacy, financial counselling etc, and link women into appropriate resources.

AWH also has several services that visit the hostel to assist women including Community Nurses, Centrelink, Homeless Outreach team- Qld Mental Health, Drug Arm and Queensland Legal Assistance.

The Single Women's Integrated Support & Housing Program (SWISH) is our outreach support and accommodation program that may be able to provide ongoing support to women exiting the hostel.
